Acquisition and maintenance of the skills of its staff is a major challenge for CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION. All its Employees are under permanent contracts, except for a few apprentices and PhD students. Significant resources are allocated to their training and resourcing throughout their professional lives.
CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION can therefore rely on a stable, competent team that is fully involved in serving its industrial clients.

We warrant the confidentiality of all studies entrusted to us. All CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION employees and trainees have signed a confidentiality agreement.

All CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION employees have made a declaration of interest in which they undertake to refuse any compromise, wherever it may come from.
CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION is an non-profit association, with about 250 members, all of them industrialists. 85% of its resources come from services invoiced to its customers, the rest comes from subsidies received for the conduct of collaborative R&D projects with university, industrial or other CRT partners, which provide a permanent resourcing for its staff.
Profits from services are used in full to complete the funding of these collaborative projects or to conduct internal R&D studies.
CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION is governed by a Board constituted of two colleges: eight full members representing the local authorities and nine industrial members elected by the General Assembly.
The Board elects a Bureau, consisting of a President, a Secretary and a Treasurer. The current President of CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION is Mr Pierre GRABETTE, Industrial Director of SPHERING GROUP.
All Board and Bureau members are volunteers.
CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION have also a Scientific Council, constituted of about 15 members, from industry and academia.
CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION is very active in national and European networks. It’s member of MICA CARNOT Institute which gathers 18 academic labs and CRT specialist in materials.
It’s also member of several scientific circles: EPMA (European Metal Powder Association), A3TS (Thermical Treatment and Surface Treatment Association), “Cercle d’Etude des Métaux” (Metal Study Circle) …
In addition of these networks, CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION regularly collaborates with some twenty laboratories on collaborative research projects.
At last, CRITT MATÉRIAUX INNOVATION is active in the regional innovation ecosystem animation. In particular, it participates in the governance of the MATERALIA Competitiveness Cluster, the PLATINIUM 3D technology platform and the NOGENTECH business cluster.
